BioMasseria Santa Lucia The Origins

BioMasseria Santa Lucia is located near Cape Leuca, in Salento, in the southernmost part of Puglia, in a region covered with olive trees and surrounded by a wonderful sea.

BioMasseria Santa Lucia is an authentic fortified masseria dating back to the 1500s and stands next to an important archaeological site of the Basilian monks.

Pilgrims once passed through this site on their way to Jerusalem, and the masseria still preserves frescoes in its tower, adorned with symbols that testify to this historic past.

A careful, eco-sustainable, and conservative restoration has brought the farm back to life. Today, it offers hospitality within its ancient walls, featuring nine well-kept and comfortable rooms. Each room has a private green space, furnished for your relaxation.

Gracias a la amabilidad y profesionalidad de María y su equipo de colaboradoras, pudimos disfrutar de unos días de descanso en un lugar perfecto, en un entorno con historia, cuidado con mimo y esmero. Inolvidables los desayunos y las cenas en el patio, rodeados de buganvillas. Agradecer todas las atenciones y ayuda que recibimos, son ellas nuestro descanso hubiera sido un poco más dificil. Un equipo de 10, la cocina un 10, que puedo decir de los "antipasti", simplemente "sublimes". Gracias .

Lovely and magical place, all with respect for nature and hospitality. Mediterranean scents of myrtle rosemary and inebriate lavender and protect the entrances in the tuff chambers. Nel profondo Salento, lontana dal chiasso delle spiagge affollate, nel piccolo paese di Alessano, c’è un luogo dove la vita ritrova la sua dimensione originaria, dove il telefono non serve, le cicale cantano indisturbate e si mangia ciò che la terra dà. Questo luogo rimarrà sempre nel mio cuore perché le sensazioni che mi ha regalato non sono facilmente ripetibili. Grazia Maria per la cura riservataci. A presto! Complex recovered from an old rural settlement, the place exudes history and the owner does not fail to share anecdotes and explanations that allow him to appreciate it to the fullest. It is certainly worth a visit and, why not, even the overnight stay in pretty rooms overlooking the 'farfalle garden' would be worth trying. The restaurant is simple in settings and dishes, careful selection of ingredients, very fresh, and preparation at the moment. The friendliness of the owners is also excellent.
